This building has yet to be fully audited. There is stepped access only to the entrance and most of the building including the seminar rooms and the majority of the library space. There are no accessible toilets in the building.
There is a step-free route to a small area of the basement containing the library stacks and two desks. This is not generally used as an entrance - visitors are advised to contact the Centre in advance to arrange using this space. The surface of the path to this space is uneven and some sections are ramped.
There is a portable induction loop in place at the information desk. This can be used in the seminar rooms if needed. Please contact the Centre to enquire about this.
The Bodleian Libraries will always make alternative arrangements should you not be able to access collections. They can deliver material to more accessible reading rooms and fetch material for you.
